Inspired by an outed Anonymous hacker who I saw in an online video recently. I love his quote as it fits in nicely with a recurring fantasy of mine; if everyone just did as they willed, regardless of law, how many people would be breaking it? And assuming that the majority of the population would be breaking the law, what would the police do about it? Arrest
everyone? And no doubt there will be those of you crying out
'what about the murderers?!' 'what about the rapists?!' etc, but I firmly believe that there would be a drastic decline in those sorts of people with the increase of liberties.
I also enjoy how this quote highlights, very blatently, that the law does not make sense. So much of the law makes no sense whatsoever - not in benefit to the masses and the individual anyway.
One of the most potently idiotic laws I find is the illegalisation of marijuana and even more importantly, magic mushrooms! I mean, how the fuck do you work that one out?! Don't take away my right to consume the gifts of god. Don't then go on to tell me that you take away this right in the interest of my own fucking safety!... I could go on like this for a while, but that's a pretty picture for another day. Just don't believe what you are told kids, go research it for yourselves.
Here's a good place to start.I continue to pray for the day we begin to live by our own laws, our own will and be free of the shackles that have been put in place to impede our liberation.
Before you get the flamethrower out with anything along the lines of: "but if people live by their own law they will kill and rape and pillage and all the rest of those nasty things", save your little fingers the unnecessary work and go and read Nietzche's
Beyond Good and Evil, then get back to me.
"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law"
